Senior sessions at Michelle Studios:
Siana booked her high school senior session with me and I am sure glad she did. They are some of my favorite senior photos ever. She was so easy to photograph and comfortable in front of the camera. My camera was smiling the whole time. She brought several coordinated outfits so we were able to get a wide variety of different looks. Equally important, she did such an amazing job with her makeup. As we consulted about before hand, she was very thoughtful about eye makeup. It makes such a difference in the camera when makeup looks professionally done, but not overdone. To summarize, I had a blast and hope to photograph her one day in the future. Good luck in college Siana. I am so happy I got to meet you and your sweet mom.
A Senior session at Michelle Studios is going to be high key, unique and lot’s of fun. We will spend time consulting on the phone and I will give you an ideas about where I love to take senior photos. Additionally, I will send you a getting ready for your senior session at Michelle Studios guide as well. There are certain things you can do for a couple of weeks prior to the photo shoot that will help you present yourself in the best possible way. I want to speak with you prior to the session but it’s important for all teens to know that I book the session with a parent or legal guardian.
When we meet I will want to see the outfits that your brought so that we can make a plan. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring not so comfortable shoes in a carry bag. Also, parents should know that we will be walking around quite a bit so if you are having mom or dad carry extra clothing a cart can be a great idea. The focus will be on you because I am a very close up in the face kind of photographer, but sometimes seniors like props to show something about their personality. The rolling carts allow you to bring what you need, if you don’t have one I do. Just remind me to bring it and your mom or dad can use it for your extra items.
We will be walking around to find the most unique areas to take your senior pictures. You are unique so your senior portraits should be as well. There are lots of nice areas in Raleigh, especially near downtown. I have some suggestions for areas that we can use which we will talk about on the phone. It’s important to plan because many locations require us getting a permit beforehand. So, letting me know ahead of time what you have in mind is a good idea. Then I can be thinking about certain locations and get those permits if they are required. I am not one bit shy and most people find it hard not to open up and have fun with me. Even most boys who are only doing the photos for mom have said that they had a great time during our photo shoots. It’s my goal as your photographer to make the experience fun from beginning to end.
