Newborn photography is the focus of my studio and has been since 2004. They are my favorite subjects. I enjoy every new baby that comes in the door, even though I have photographed well over a thousand. If you would like for my studio meet your photography needs it is best to get on the calendar early. A retainer is due the day you book to hold a spot for you. I photograph newborns early in the morning, therefore my reserved spots are limited. Many years of experience has told me this is the best time for your baby to be sleepy. Being sleepy allows me to curl them into the cute poses that people love so much. I have a full service studio and a separate cozy studio for just newborn photography. You also have the option of outdoor newborn images in warm weather. The fairy gardens are beautiful and set up just for your special new babies. The outdoor newborn images are a big hit in the community.
If you have already had your baby please do give me a call and I will do my best to get you on the schedule. Newborn photography should happen in the child’s first three weeks of life. I generally like to get them in somewhere between day 10 and day 21. Generally in the first week babies still have some discoloration or maybe some jaundice. Because I prefer color images I like for that to clear up before they come in. I will guide you and help them find the right time for their baby’s first portraits.
