Are you looking for a family photographer in Raleigh, Cary, Apex or Holly Springs? If so check out my relationships gallery and see if you like my style. When someone asks me what is important to me, family is always my answer. As you might imagine I have so many photographs of the people in my family. I hang them on the walls, have many albums and even have coasters with photos. It is so nice to have them to decorate my home. When a want to reminisce I drag out the albums. How wonderful it is to go back and remember how tiny the children were. It makes me smile to see the familiar and loved faces of my grandparents who are no longer with me. I hope you feel the same way about photos. Those portraits remind me that I am loved. They also remind me that I am part of something special, a family. One of my favorite family photographs has everyone but me in it. However, as my mother pointed out I am there, I am just behind the camera.
Being a family photographer in Raleigh, Cary, Apex and the surrounding areas for many years has been a fantastic experience. I have made some great friends, have built some special relationships. Watching so many children grow up is a nice perk. The longer I photograph those children the better the pictures get because we have an established relationship. This relationship allows the child to be comfortable in front of my camera. Parents also tend to feel more comfortable when they have an established relationship with the photographer. Meeting and photographing new families is yet another nice part of my job. I can’t wait for the new relationships to build and grow. Many of my customers start with a newborn session. With my suggestions they bring the baby back for the sitter session. They will then book yearly family sessions in the fall. My portraits hang in their homes and others are sent out as holiday cards. It is nice to receive a card that I helped to create. If you are getting ready to start your own family check out my newborn page and congratulations. I am so excited for you.
