There is something to be said about Christmas magic in Raleigh North Carolina. Here at my studio I celebrate the season with portraits. I offer mini sessions to clients who would like to book a shorter and more affordable photography experience. Sometimes a mini session at Christmas is all that a parent might need to make a Christmas card. Some parents decorate their homes for Christmas by putting the holiday portraits out around the house. This just adds to the feeling of home and family. Memories are always a special part of a families holiday experience. I love to help you create those memories frozen in time with classic and artistic images. I have many different set ups for Christmas themed portraits. However I do like to remind prospective clients that I have a goal as a portrait photographer. That goal is to take amazing images of your child. One of my favorite slogans is that “I wish to photograph your child not their outfit.” With that in mind I will add props to images but not so many props take over the image. I also have the fairy gardens in the yard. It is very nice to add a few decorated tiny trees into the woodland fairy garden. Your toddler can decorate one of the trees. This actually holds those little guys in a spot for a minute or two. The images are adorable. Check out this blog post HERE. That is Reagan and she is a year old in these images. We did an affordable mini session and the results were amazing. You can tell by the images in the post that she was having fun. I love for parents to dress children in holiday pajamas or something bright that photographs nicely outside.
